Head of Academics’ Message
It is my great honor to join Times Academy as the Head of Academics, bringing with me over 25 years of international experience across world-renowned luxury hotels and 5-star properties in Sri Lanka, Dubai, Ras Al – Khaimah, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi and Turkey. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to serve in leadership roles such as Executive pastry chef cum culinary executive chef at the prestigious Galle Face Hotel, and to contribute to world-class brands including Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont, Rotana, Hilton, Grosvenor House Dubai, and Taj Hotels.
My professional journey has been enriched by international recognition, including medals at global culinary competitions such as the Emirates Salon Culinaire and the Middle East Junior Chef of the Year – Dubai. Along the way, I have had the privilege of leading diverse, multicultural teams, pioneering new pastry concepts, and shaping innovative dining experiences that blend authentic traditions with modern techniques.
At Times Academy, my vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of hospitality professionals. Education is not only about knowledge, but also about cultivating discipline, creativity, leadership, and a global mindset. I believe in combining academic excellence with hands-on, real-world exposure, ensuring that every student who graduates from Times Academy is fully prepared to thrive in the international hospitality industry.
